Welcome to Kioupia, a traditional restaurant in the heart of Thessaloniki.
Since 1991, Kioupia has stood on Morihovou Square, facing the fountain, in one of the liveliest corners of Ladadika. Our name recalls the clay jars (kioupia) that once held olive oil, back when this neighbourhood was Thessaloniki’s oil market. We still cook with that respect for tradition: fresh fish and seafood, meat dishes, slow-cooked classics and meze made for sharing. We also host social and business events, from family celebrations to company dinners.
